1.About Heal Counselling

Heal Counselling is a sole-practitioner counselling service operated by Nidhi Pitkar, a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Singapore. Nidhi Pitkar is a member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).

Services include individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, Walk & Talk Therapy, and corporate / Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) sessions, delivered in person in Singapore and online via secure video call.

2.The Clarity Check — not a clinical tool

The Clarity Check is a free, voluntary, psychoeducational screening tool available on this Site. It uses three validated questionnaires (WHO-5 Wellbeing Index, PHQ-9, GAD-7) to give you a snapshot of your current wellbeing.

Important limitations — please read

  • The Clarity Check is not a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or medical advice.
  • Results are provided for personal reflection only and should not be used to self-diagnose or make medical decisions.
  • Only a qualified mental health clinician can provide a clinical diagnosis.
  • If you score in a high-risk range, the tool will suggest you seek professional support promptly. Please do so.
  • Heal Counselling accepts no liability for decisions made solely on the basis of Clarity Check results.

3.Counselling and therapy services

Counselling is a professional, confidential, and collaborative process. Engaging Heal Counselling for counselling is subject to a separate client agreement, which will be provided before your first paid session. These Terms govern your use of the Site and do not constitute a client agreement.

Outcomes: Counselling can be highly effective, but outcomes vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed. Nidhi Pitkar makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the result of any counselling services.

Scope: Counselling services provided through Heal Counselling do not include psychiatric medication, clinical diagnosis, or medical treatment. If a referral to a psychiatrist, GP, or other specialist is indicated, Nidhi will discuss this with you.

4.Appointments and cancellations

The following cancellation policy applies to all paid counselling sessions:

  • More than 48 hours' notice: No charge. The session may be rescheduled at no cost.
  • 24–48 hours' notice: 50% of the session fee will be charged.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice or no-show: The full session fee will be charged, except in documented emergencies.

Notice should be given via WhatsApp (+65 9436 3399) or email (nidhi@healcounselling.io). Cancellations received outside business hours are counted from the next business day unless the session is within 24 hours.

Nidhi Pitkar reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions with as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation by Heal Counselling, no charge will be made.

5.Fees and payment

Session fees are agreed between the client and Nidhi Pitkar before the first paid session. All fees are quoted and payable in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

Payment is accepted by bank transfer (PayNow / PayLah! / FAST) or cash. Payment is due within 24 hours of a session unless otherwise agreed.

Heal Counselling does not currently accept direct insurance billing. Clients wishing to claim against a health insurance policy or employer benefit programme are responsible for making their own claim. Invoices can be provided on request.

6.Confidentiality

Confidentiality is a fundamental principle of counselling. What you share in sessions is not disclosed to third parties without your explicit written consent, except in the three circumstances described in our Privacy Policy (Section 4):

  1. Serious and imminent risk of harm to you or another person.
  2. A valid court order or legal obligation under Singapore law.
  3. Disclosure of child abuse under the Children and Young Persons Act.

Nidhi Pitkar adheres to the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) Code of Ethics in all professional practice.
