Small Group Sessions · Singapore
Activity-based small group sessions where participants learn, practise, and internalise life skills in a safe and supportive environment. Structured around themes. Led by Nidhi.
What they are
When most people hear "group therapy," they picture a circle of chairs, intense disclosures, and raw emotional material shared with strangers. Heal's small group sessions are different. They are structured, activity-based, and focused on building specific skills — emotional regulation, communication, stress management, self-compassion — through guided exercises and supported practice.
The group format does something that individual therapy can't replicate: it gives participants the experience of not being alone in what they're dealing with. The recognition that others share your struggles — stated not as a platitude but experienced directly, in the same room — is itself therapeutic.
Groups are kept small — typically 4–8 participants — to preserve the safety and intimacy that make honest participation possible.
What participants develop
Understanding the physiology of strong emotions and building the capacity to respond rather than react. Particularly useful for anxiety, anger, and overwhelm.
Identifying your own needs and communicating them clearly — in relationships, at work, and with family. Practised through structured exercises with other participants.
Identifying your own stress patterns and early warning signs. Building sustainable rhythms that don't require everything to collapse before you pay attention.
The internal critic, the imposter syndrome, the constant benchmarking against others. Structured practices for developing a more balanced relationship with yourself.
Not mindfulness as relaxation, but mindfulness as attention: learning to notice what's actually happening before you react. Evidence-based, skill-focused.
Understanding what genuine support looks like, how to ask for it, and how to build the kinds of relationships that sustain wellbeing over time.
